Traditional raspberry vinegar 50cl MARTIN POURET
122470
This Raspberry Vinaigre d'Orléans de Vin Blanc à la Framboise is made using a traditional method dating back to 1797, using wines from the main French wine-growing regions and a slow three-week fermentation in oak barrels. The result is a unique taste, the heritage of Martin Pouret's centuries-old expertise. This exceptional vinegar, selected for you by Le Delas, adds a fruity, delicate touch to your dishes, ideal for enhancing salads, white meats and red fruit desserts.
Since 1797, Martin Pouret has been bringing out the best acidity in vinegar by ageing it in oak barrels in the Orléans tradition.
During the Renaissance, when wine was being transported from the south of France to Paris, some of it underwent a second fermentation. Set aside in Orléans, they were taken care of by the Maîtres Vinaigriers, of whom there were 400 at the time, who transformed them into vinegar. The Orléans method has become the absolute benchmark for vinegar, like the Champagne method for sparkling wine. The only company to perpetuate this technique, Maison Martin-Pouret and its Master Vinegar Makers continue to pursue this quest for excellence, for the tables of gourmets the world over.
