These 5 rump steaks from France are cut into regular portions of approximately 200g each, for a total weight of approximately 1kg per package. The rump steak is a muscle from the thigh with a strong flavour and firm texture, offering an excellent alternative to more expensive cuts. These steaks are precisely cut in our dedicated workshop by the butchery teams at Le Delas, a wholesaler in Rungis. The French origin of the meat and the consistency of the weight are major advantages for standardising dishes in the catering industry.
