The authentic flavours of Brittany in a traditional setting; This chicken liver confit, produced by Guyader, embodies the charcuterie expertise of Brittany. Prepared according to a ‘traditional' recipe, this terrine is made from a carefully selected blend of chicken livers (18.5%) and pork of French origin, enriched with duck fat for an exceptionally smooth texture. Its presentation in a stoneware terrine is not merely aesthetic; it ensures ideal thermal retention and gives the product a rustic, authentic character, perfect for enhancing your displays in the dining room, in the display case or on a prestigious buffet. Professional uses, preparation and storage: ► Gastronomic applications: With its tender texture and generously visible pieces of liver resulting from coarse mincing, this confit is a centrepiece for your charcuterie platters or regional starters. Subtly enhanced by a hint of white wine and Sauternes, it pairs perfectly with toasted country bread, onion chutney or a few thin gherkins. Its stoneware presentation allows for direct serving at the buffet, creating a ‘homemade' look that is highly appreciated by customers. ► Preparation: To make slicing easier and preserve the product's structure, it is advisable to work with it whilst it is very cold. Using a carving knife or a fine-bladed knife previously dipped in hot water ensures neat portions of approximately 50g.
