Sheep's milk yoghurt plain 2x125g BEILLEVAIRE
416363
A remarkably smooth, slow-cooked farmhouse yoghurt prepared using traditional methods
Produced in the historic Beillevaire workshop in Machecoul, Loire-Atlantique (44), this plain yoghurt made from whole sheep's milk is the result of meticulous artisanal craftsmanship. Made from fresh milk sourced in the Basque Country, this yoghurt is steamed directly in its pot, resulting in a particularly creamy texture and a mild, delicate flavour. Packaged in a traditional 125 g glass pot and sold in packs of two, it is an authentic and refined dairy product designed to enhance breakfasts, desserts and buffets for restaurateurs, hoteliers and caterers.
Professional uses, preparation and storage:
► Gourmet applications and presentation: Whilst best enjoyed on its own, this yoghurt pairs remarkably well with accompaniments such as black cherry jam from the Basque Country, blossom honey, Saba (cooked grape must) or a sprinkling of mild spice blends such as ‘Poudre des Bulgares'.
► Packaging and presentation: Recyclable 125 g glass jars sold in packs of 2. The glass format ensures an elegant presentation for table service, display on hotel buffet platters or sale in delicatessens.
► Profile and benefits: A natural, gently heated yoghurt made from characterful sheep's milk, offering a premium, easily digestible alternative to cow's milk on your menus.
► Storage and shelf life: A fresh dairy product to be stored in a refrigerated environment at between +2 °C and +4 °C until the use-by date (DLC).
Butters, dairy desserts, rice pudding, semolina pudding, panna cotta and small pots of cream, homemade with the authentic taste of good raw Vendée milk!
From his family heritage, a dairy farm in the heart of the Breton-Vendée marshes, Pascal Beillevaire has managed to reconcile two passions: trade and agriculture. Since its creation more than 40 years ago, Maison Beillevaire has brought together the entire dairy industry and its trade. Their manufacturing methods are inherited from artisanal know-how and respectful of taste and quality. These authentic desserts, small pots of cream and farm yoghurts are produced from raw milk collected hot morning and evening from farms located near the workshop, in order to guarantee production without any heat treatment. The butter is made in barrate and molded manually. After adding subtly selected and dosed ingredients, the desserts and small pots of cream are baked in the traditional oven, then cooled slowly, in order to preserve their creamy and melting texture. Their individual packaging makes them an ideal product for resale and room service.
