Le Delas imports straight from Cambodia this pepper of Kampot, considered one of the best peppers in the world, from Sister Marie-Ange Yoeurng. At the origin of this cooperative, Marie-Ange is a survivor of the labor camps of the Khmer Rouge, who came to Catholicism in exile in Quebec. She returned to Cambodia in 2013 to support the population of her region by opening a farm. She chooses the pepper of Kampot, real Piper Negrum, the first Cambodian agricultural product to benefit from a PGI. In terms of flavor, Kampot pepper offers a fruity scent with notes of apples and pears, slightly menthol.
