104378
Award-winning excellence from the Southwest at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris. These pure duck rillettes, enriched with 20% duck foie gras, embody the traditional charcuterie expertise of the artisanal Micouleau company, based in Beaumont-de-Lomagne in Gascony. Awarded a bronze medal in 2024 and a silver medal in 2025 at the Paris General Agricultural Competition, these gourmet rillettes are made from 100% French-bred ducks. Their authentic recipe combines confit duck meat and fat with a generous proportion of duck foie gras (20%), seasoned simply with salt, garlic, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Packaged in a 180g metal tin (ideal for 4 guests), this specialty offers a melt-in-your-mouth texture with shredded strands and the rich, refined flavors characteristic of Southwestern French charcuterie.
Professional uses, preparation, and storage:
► Culinary applications: Thanks to their award-winning quality and high value-added nature, these exceptional rillettes naturally belong on fine charcuterie platters, gourmet dishes from the Southwest, catering buffets, or as appetizers. They are best enjoyed served chilled, spread on thick slices of toasted country bread, sourdough, or toasted brioche. They pair perfectly with fleur de sel, crisp pickles, fig chutney, or caramelized onions. This 180 g can is also well-suited for inclusion in gourmet gift baskets or fine food selections.
► Preparation: Ready to eat. Place the can in the refrigerator a few hours before serving to make it easier to remove from the can and to ensure the spread holds its shape.
► Storage: This is a long-life, heat-sealed product; store in a dry, temperate place. After opening the tin, keep it in the refrigerator at a temperature between 0°C and +4°C and consume within 48 hours.
