With Roquefort Pastourelle, offer the authenticity of a PDO blue cheese.
Roquefort Pastourelle is a blue cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, made exclusively from raw sheep's milk sourced in France and matured for at least six months. Delas selected this Roquefort for its clean, fresh blue flavour, which is pleasant and not too pungent, and its exceptional creaminess and buttery texture. The paste is characterised by a creamy, well-bound and melt-in-the-mouth texture, offering a fresh and pleasant taste typical of great Roqueforts. This format, in 8th of a wheel, allows for optimised portioning for cheese platters and culinary uses, guaranteeing professionals a cheese with exceptional character and rigorously controlled quality.
Culinary uses and storage:
► Use: Roquefort is a must-have for cheese platters. It is also ideal for hot dishes: melted in a sauce to accompany red meat, added to a quiche or used as a filling for a savoury tart.
► Storage before opening: Fresh product, to be stored between +2°C and +6°C maximum.
► Storage after opening: It is recommended to cover it with cling film and consume it within 5 days of opening to preserve all its organoleptic qualities.
