Belon "1930" oysters (Cancale) N°0 x25 SAINT KERBER
620059
The oyster of Cancale is noted for its taste of iodine as well as its firm flesh, light, nutty flavour and being slightly acidic. It is much adored by many food lovers, who swear by this oyster and its unique subtlety and finesse.
Cancale oyster farmers for several generations, combining passion, tradition and modernity, for an irreproachable quality.
This family business since 1930 raises oysters on a beautiful natural site located in Cancale, in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel. This unique terroir makes it one the best places for oysters in France, where the "sea gardeners" combine innovations and traditional methods to guarantee the highest quality. It takes 3 years to obtain a high quality oyster, initially in bags by 1000, constantly returned and re-divided, they end up growing by 180 per bag. Washed, sorted, purified by 8 days in oxygenated storage basins at ideal temperature prior to shipment, they undergo no thermal shock on the entire production process. The control and selection of each oyster at the time of packaging ends by "clashing" oysters against each other to control their freshness and quality... All this guarantees an irreproachable result.
