Thermised goat's milk crottin cheese platter 2x60g LAITERIE SÈVRE & BELLE
414507
These Crottins de Chèvre are matured soft goat's cheeses, lovingly produced in Celles-sur-Belle. Made from thermised milk sourced in France, these cheeses are matured for a minimum of 7 days, developing a thin, beige, wavy rind. Presented in a convenient tray of two 60g pieces, they offer a characteristic goat's cheese flavour that ranges from mild to strong depending on the maturing process. Selected by Le Delas, this tray is a benchmark of quality for catering and dairy professionals, guaranteeing a GMO-free product that respects traditional production methods.
Uses and advice from the cheesemaker:
► Versatility: Ideal for serving on a platter, as an appetiser or as a culinary ingredient.
► In cooking: Excellent hot (warm goat's cheese on toast, pies, quiches) or cold (mixed salads).
► Changing texture: Its paste, which is firm at first, becomes creamy over time, ending up slightly crumbly after prolonged ripening.
► Suggestion: Pair it with a dry white wine from the Loire to highlight its distinctive character.
Store between +2°C and +6°C. Product subject to drying out.
Local raw milk cheeses, without GMOs, molded with a ladle, made by a traditional dairy, belonging to the same cooperative as Échiré.
Like Échiré, the Sèvre & Belle brand is part of the Coopérative Laitière de la Sèvre, an independent dairy cooperative on a human scale and respectful of the know-how of yesteryear. The quality of their products is directly linked to the respect of ancestral manufacturing processes, which they have been practicing since 1893. The production, certified IFS higher level, is based on 55 goat milk producers. Their local milk is guaranteed GMO-free and comes from a radius of 50 km around the dairy. Its goat cheeses have won numerous awards at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris.
