Crémier churned butter with Île de Ré salt crystals 250g LAITERIE D'ÉCHIRÉ
413044
La Baratte du Crémier aux Cristaux de Sel de l'Île de Ré is an exceptional semi-salted butter produced by the famous Laiterie d'Échiré. Made in a churn from cream matured at low temperature, this fluted butter stands out for its authentic character and its greaseproof paper packaging. The addition of Île de Ré salt (2.4% max) creates a unique dual texture: the smoothness of the butter meets the crunchiness of the salt crystals. This butter offers the rich aroma typical of the Charente region, while remaining easy to spread, even straight from the refrigerator. A refined choice for creamers and gourmet tables, selected by Le Delas.
Uses and tasting tips:
► Enjoy on its own: Particularly recommended on a slice of fresh bread for breakfast to fully savour the crunch of the salt crystals.
► Cooking & Baking: Delicately enhances your preparations, but it is advisable to avoid cooking over high heat to preserve the quality of the crystals.
Store between +2°C and +6°C, away from light and odours.
Échiré butter: PDO excellence churned in wooden barrels for exceptional dining and cooking.
Since 1894, Beurrerie Échiré, located in the Deux-Sèvres region, has embodied French dairy excellence through its unchanged ancestral know-how. The gold standard for pastry chefs and restaurateurs, this Charentes-Poitou PDO butter is distinguished by its slow maturation of the cream for 18 hours and traditional churning in wooden barrels for 2½ hours. This artisanal method gives the butter a smooth texture and a delicate nutty flavour, particularly sought after for professional laminating butter used in exceptional puff pastries. The company also offers premium milk, collected every 48 hours from local farmers, offering a creaminess and notes of crème fraîche that are ideal for the most demanding culinary preparations.
