Sprats, a species between herring and sardines, live in colonies in the North Atlantic. Preserved in olive oil, they have a melt-in-the-mouth texture and a flavour that is both strong and very delicate, with a slightly smoky taste. Enjoyed like mini sardines, traditionally with bread and butter, they can also be served on toast topped with ricotta, fresh tomatoes and capers. Placed on crackers, they become a must-have for cocktail parties! The transparent lid allows you to admire the beautiful hand-packed arrangement.
