Roscoff onion PDO cluster 1kg
510304
Harvested on the northern coast of Brittany, Roscoff onions have a Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) guaranteeing their terroir and unique quality. Presented in traditional 1 kg bunches, they are distinguished by their beautiful coppery colour, pink flesh and taste that is sweet, delicate and slightly fruity. Carefully selected by Le Delas, they are a staple of French gastronomy.
Culinary uses:
Versatile, the Roscoff Onion PDO is equally suited to everyday cooking and gourmet recipes. Its sweetness makes it an ideal ingredient for onion soups, onion jams, refined sauces or accompaniments to meat and fish. It can also be eaten raw, finely chopped, in salads to add a subtle sweetness.
Storage:
Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place, away from light, preferably hung up to prolong its shelf life.
