This Val do Blanco extra-virgin olive oil comes from the Galega, Picual, Madural and Cobrançosa olive varieties, produced in the municipality of Trancoso (Beira Interior, located in central Portugal). The mature olives are pressed less than 24 hours after picking, in December. This high quality oil offers aromas of red tomato, cashew nuts and roasted pecan nuts. It also reveals a slight bitterness and, at the end of the mouth, a slight ardence. Its low acidity level is 0.13.
