The plantains are prepared from raw materials from Ecuador, sorted, ripened, peeled, sliced (8-12 mm thick), fried and then individually frozen using the IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) technique. This technique ensures that each slice retains its shape and typical texture. It also allows only the necessary quantity to be defrosted, ensuring precise and efficient portion control. This practical product is indispensable for busy kitchens or event caterers who want to offer exotic side dishes that can be prepared quickly and without waste. The slices have a golden appearance and a typical, slightly sweet flavour. Culinary Applications and Reheating Methods ► Exotic Side Dish: Served with Caribbean, African or Latin American dishes, such as grilled meats, fish or curries. ► Tapas and Appetisers: Can be used for cocktail parties or tapas with a twist. ► Cooking Flexibility: The product can be reheated using three methods to suit your equipment and the desired result: In the oven (180°C): 20 minutes (turn halfway through).
