This 1kg bag of frozen sliced avocado is made from peeled and pitted Hass avocados. This avocado is renowned for its creamy flesh and rich flavour, excellent shelf life (low oxidation), ease of preparation and ease of storage. The slices are cut and individually quick-frozen (IQF) in a protective atmosphere. The freezing process and slicing allow for a ready-to-use, perfectly ripe avocado, avoiding waste and ensuring excellent portion control. The slices are green in colour and have a soft texture after thawing. This product is selected by Le Delas, your wholesaler in Rungis. Culinary uses: These frozen avocado slices are suitable for a wide range of uses in professional kitchens, saving time and ensuring consistency: ► Salads and bowls: Perfect for adding directly to salads, bowls, poke bowls or sandwiches after thawing. ► Fillings: Ideal for tacos, burritos, fajitas, or as an accompaniment to fish or poultry dishes. ► Cold preparations: Can be blended to make mousses, green smoothies or a base for guacamole (if mashed after thawing). ► Fast food and catering: The frozen format guarantees constant availability, standardised quality and controlled hygiene. Storage and preparation advice: ► Storage: Frozen product. Store at a temperature below −18°C.
