These frozen Romano beans, grown from varieties selected for their flavour (Linera, Dulcina), are distinguished by their flat shape and characteristic width. Harvested when ripe, they have been carefully washed, stringed and trimmed before being cut into 20–40 mm segments. Thanks to the IQF (Individual Quick Frozen) rapid freezing process, each piece retains its structure and nutritional properties. Delas offers this product to provide professionals with a reliable, ready-to-use culinary aid with no wastage. Culinary uses and preparation: A genuine alternative to traditional green beans, the Romano bean adds a touch of rustic charm and indulgence to your dishes: ► Side dishes: Ideal with braised meats, lamb stews or white fish. ► Mediterranean cuisine: Perfect for making tagines, stir-fried vegetables or warm salads with olive oil and garlic. ► Method: Prepare the vegetables without defrosting them first, just as you would with fresh produce, simply adjusting the cooking time, which will be shorter thanks to the initial blanching. ► Storage: Frozen product to be stored at -18°C.
