Yuzu, 100% sourced from Japan (Kôchi), is a rare and precious citrus fruit, renowned for its powerful aroma and intense fruity flavour. Grown in the mountainous regions of Japan, where the climate and abundant rainfall give it its unique character, it is one of the most aromatic citrus fruits in the world. Its subtle taste pairs perfectly with fruits such as white peach, strawberry, pineapple and mint. Although its production is limited due to its unpredictable yield, yuzu remains highly prized for its rarity and incomparable fragrance.

This family business, which has specialised in fruit since 1946, embodies above all a culture of the original taste of fruit, with its chilled purées and coulis. It is a source of exceptional, rare and exclusive fruit, picked when ripe and processed quickly and gently after harvest. It supports the gastronomic community with its creations and innovations. Certified B Corp, one of the most demanding social and environmental labels, in June 2024 Ponthier will switch to using beet sugar from France to reduce its carbon footprint. Ponthier coulis and purées are made from fruit of carefully selected varieties, harvested at the right stage of ripeness, without colouring or preservatives. The purées can be used in the same way as traditional frozen purées (for desserts, ice creams or sorbets, jams, fruit jellies, coulis, glazes), for cocktails, smoothies, milkshakes and granitas... Coulis can be used as a garnish on a plate, next to cakes, on ice creams, mixed with yoghurts, or in fruit salads. These fruit bases are ideal for use in kitchens, laboratories and, of course, patisserie. Their pack with resealable cap makes them easy to dose and offers optimum bacteriological protection.
