Sake Hanahato Kijoshu 8 ans 16° 50cl ENOKI
197736
This Kijoshu is produced with sake added instead of water and aged 8 years. This long maturation gives it a deep amber color and a denser texture, slightly syrupy. Its complex flavor is long in mouth with a long, alcoholic and sweet finish. It goes very well with foie gras, cheeses, tempuras, spicy dishes, as well as chocolate dessert or ice cream.
Our selection of high quality sake, to be tasted as wine, as an aperitif and throughout your meal.
Our search of the best gastronomic products took us to Japan, in the Hiroshima prefecture, whose reputation in sake is long established. We brought back a lot of information and photos which we are happy to share with you, as well as a Le Delas selection of sakes chosen for their superior quality and reasonable prices. You will see that sake is not at all what you think! Sake is rice wine produced through fermentation of a mix of rice and water. It is not a distilled alcohol, contrary to popular belief, and averages 15.5% alcohol. Just like wines, there are many qualities of sakes, depending on the rice, the water, but above all, the process of production and the know-how of the brewer. Similar to wines in France, the general trend in the sake market is to a reduction of volumes and an increase quality. No matter what everyone says, it is your palate who will decide which of these sakes you prefer.
