Lavendin flowers tubo 330ml 35g SÉLECTION DES GRANDS CHEFS
134301
Grown at altitudes of between 700 and 1,200 metres, these lavandin flowers are harvested at the height of the season, from July to August, before being air-dried and carefully sorted. Le Delas has selected this product for its remarkable aromatic intensity. Particularly distinctive and potent, lavandin is a characterful ingredient that allows professionals to add a floral touch and Provençal elegance to a variety of recipes, from starters to desserts.
Culinary uses, preparation and storage:
Due to lavandin's high aromatic concentration, its use in cooking requires a certain degree of precision:
► Infusions and dairy products: This is where it comes into its own. Infuse the flowers in milk or cream to make ice creams, lavender creams or desserts such as île flottante.
► Creative cuisine: Use it to subtly flavour sauces or herbal teas, or to add an unexpected floral contrast to a roast or mixed salad.
► Usage tip: Lavandin has a very strong fragrance; it should be used sparingly so as not to overpower the other flavours in your dishes.
► Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture to preserve its full aromatic potency.
