Soft and tasty, these pieces of fillet are made from white albacore tuna belly. This triangle-shaped area, located on the belly of the fish, has a finer and more delicate taste than that of the rest of the flesh of the fish. These pieces of belly are particularly suitable for making gourmet dishes, sandwiches, toast or salads. Ideal for resale, this box contains approximately 80g of fish once drained.
Conserves of the Bay of Biscay from species harvested at maturity and hand-packed for 5 generations.
For the last five generations, Las Ortiz Conservas, located in the Basque country, have been selecting and conditioning the most famous species of the gulf of Gascogne, anchovies and albacore tuna. Canned tuna fillets and ventresca are made with fish caught by line during the summer period in order to respect the integrity and maturity of the tuna.
