The quiche, originally from Lorraine, has become a classic of French cuisine (its name comes from the German "Kuchen", cake). Its origins date back to the 16th century, in Nancy, where it is a speciality, its local name is féouse. It used to be made of bread dough, but today it is made with a broken crust. Quiche Lorraine is a pie filled with a mixture of ham, bacon bits and an egg flan. The dough, of pure butter composition, is crispy and tasty. Reheat the quiche in a traditional oven at 160°C for 15 to 20min. The use of a microwave is prohibited for this product.
