These thin slices of cured ham, crafted using the expertise of Aoste Professionnel and selected by Le Delas, are made exclusively from the hind legs of French-bred pigs. Having undergone a slow curing process of at least 130 days, this ham boasts a texture that is both firm and melt-in-the-mouth. Its uniform cut into ready-to-use strips ensures professionals can manage their time efficiently in the kitchen whilst adding a distinct, characteristic flavour to every dish.
Professional uses, preparation and storage:
► Culinary applications: Perfect for enhancing gourmet salads, adding a touch of flavour to savoury cakes or finishing off a seasonal risotto. They are ideal for use in catering preparations such as quiches, rustic tarts or as a high-quality topping on a premium pizza.
► Preparation: Ready-to-use product. To bring out its flavours, it is recommended to leave the tray at room temperature for a few minutes before serving. These strips can be used cold to preserve their melt-in-the-mouth texture or lightly seared in a frying pan to add crunch and a salty intensity.
► Storage: Packaged in a 500g tray under modified atmosphere for prolonged freshness. Must be stored in a refrigerated environment at a maximum temperature of +8°C. Once opened, the product must be consumed within 3 days to ensure its organoleptic qualities.
