Amaranth is known as the sacred wheat of the Incas. From the quinoa family, it is one of the oldest plants cultivated by man. Formerly the food of the gods, it was used by the Incas and the Aztecs during religious rites. Count 60g per person and 2 volumes of water for 1 volume of seeds for cooking for 20 minutes.
