These superior quality walnut kernels are produced in Périgord and certified by a PDO label. Of extra quality, they are uniformly light in color and practically free of dark straw and/or lemon yellow color, dark brown being excluded. The invalid mention means that the walnut kernels may be chipped or slightly damaged, in terms of presentation but not in terms of taste. Invalid kernels are therefore smaller, and more economical, than half an intact walnut but they are larger than broken walnuts. Location in store: Epicerie - Allée 02
