These Prestige tropical pink prawns are Penaeus vannamei prawns, peeled and cooked in brine, presented in 1.5 kg tubs with a drained net weight of 900 g. They have a uniform pink colour and a firm texture. Farmed in several countries (India, Ecuador, Vietnam, Honduras and Nicaragua), these prawns are processed in the Netherlands and are ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council) certified, a guarantee of responsible aquaculture. The product is also guaranteed GMO-free and non-ionised. Professional culinary uses: These prawns are already cooked and peeled, and are ready to use after draining. They are ideal for immediate use in catering: mixed salads, prawn cocktails, cold buffets, or as a garnish for hot dishes (add at the end of cooking). They have a distinctive, slightly salty taste. Storage instructions: Store between 0°C and +4°C. After opening, store in the original brine and consume within a few days. Close the lid tightly after each use.
