Pauillac Château Haut-Bages Monpelou cru bourgeois 2011

Château Haut-Bages Monpelou, in a way "little brother" of Château Batailley, is one of the three original vineyards of Château Duhart-Milon. It produces an elegant and full-bodied wine, thanks to a particularly studied grape variety, made from Cabernet Sauvignon 72%, Merlot 22%, Cabernet Franc 6%, aged 18 months in oak barrels). Its robe is deep red, its nose fruity with aromas of blackberries, blackcurrants, smoked cedar and minerals. On the palate, it is moderately fleshy with a nice fruitiness, chocolate notes, and a long finish of ripe fruit.
Margaux Villa Mansoury 2017

Margaux Villa Mansoury 2017

A great Bordeaux wine, Villa Mansoury is the result of a blend of several estates holding the Margaux appellation. This wine offers excellent aging potential. It is also distinguished by its suppleness, its delicacy and its very elegant fruity aromas. Aged 6 months in barrels, it reveals a beautiful intensity verging on deep purple. Its nose is on spices, followed by a concentrated and crunchy mouth, and a soft finish on asserted tannins. It goes perfectly with a roast duckling, a rib of beef with porcini mushrooms, suckling lamb or a characterful cheese like Saint-Nectaire.
