The Glenlivet Archive whisky 21 years 43° 70cl wood gift box
197323
The Glenlivet Archive 21 Year Old Single Malt is a prestigious expression from one of Speyside's most iconic distilleries. Selected by Le Delas for its complexity and refinement, this whisky is the result of a meticulous blend of oak casks that have previously held sherry and bourbon. Each batch is numbered, ensuring exceptional quality control for this spirit, which embodies the mastery of time and maturation.
Sensory profile, preparation and storage:
► Aromatic profile: On the nose, it offers a rich, deep bouquet of dried fruit, sandalwood and hints of cinnamon. On the palate, its oily, enveloping texture reveals intense flavours of nuts, butterscotch and orange zest, evolving into an infinitely long finish, marked by sweet spices and a touch of toasted oak.
► Serving and fine tasting: This whisky is best enjoyed neat, at room temperature, in a tulip-shaped glass to concentrate its complex aromas. For customers wishing to release the essential oils and open up the bouquet, adding a few drops of neutral spring water is recommended.
► Serving: A centrepiece of a digestif menu or spirits trolley, it can also accompany an intense dark chocolate dessert or a full-bodied cigar. Its wooden presentation box makes it a prime choice for corporate gifts or end-of-year hampers in fine food shops.
► Storage: The bottle should be stored upright in its original box to protect it from light. It is essential to keep it in a cool, dry place to preserve the seal of the stopper and the integrity of the aromatic profile developed over two decades of maturation.
