Quercy farm lamb carcass PGI Label Rouge ±16kg AGNEAU FERMIER DU QUERCY
308300
A IGP Label Rouge lamb, raised in the french "Causses du Quercy" natural park and slaughtered before 150 days
The french Causses du Quercy Regional Park is the domain of the sheep breed "Caussenarde du Lot", adapted to the meager vegetation of these vast limestone expanses. It recognizes itself by the black circular spots that make it look like sunglasses. This quality lamb, IGP, is the first meat to have obtained the Label Rouge.
Raised under the mother 70 days minimum, its diet is supplemented with cereals and plant foods. Slaughtered in Gramat, one lamb out of three, conforming U, R or O, will obtain the PGI. The youngest animals (150 days maximum) will get the Red Label. Its light meat is tasty and melting. It can be roasted in the oven or on stake. Le Delas processes the cutting in a laboratory of its butchery department.
