Red, small and sweet, these very high-quality peppers come from Lodosa, a small village near the Ebro, a PDO terroir known for their flavor and tenderness. Harvested by hand between September and November at their optimal maturity stage, they are dry-processed to preserve the intensity of the freshly roasted piquillo flavour, then packed by hand within a few hours.
These red pepper drops are mini candied peppers, characterised by their drop shape and bright red colour. Packaged in small jars to prevent waste in the kitchen, they offer a slightly sweet and vinegary flavour, ideal for adding a touch of colour and flavour to your dishes. The peppers come from Peru or Egypt and are prepared by Sabarot using a sterilisation process that guarantees a long shelf life.

Red pepper drops are a delicatessen product perfect for decoration and accompaniment. Their attractive shape and mild flavour are excellent for mixed salads, appetiser skewers, canapé or verrine garnishes, or pizzas and focaccias. It is advisable to rinse them thoroughly before adding them to your preparations.
Storage and preparation tips:
Before opening: Store at room temperature in a dry, well-ventilated place. Can be kept for several months until the date indicated on the packaging.
After opening: Store between 0°C and +3°C and consume quickly (within 5 days maximum).
Theese tomatoes are dried in the sun and then salted. Before use, it is advisable to wash them and let them soak in a water bath (20-30min) to eliminate any excess salt, then drain the tomatoes well. Preparation tip: put the sun-dried tomatoes in oregano oil. You can add a clove of garlic and anchovy fillets.
