Bas-Armagnac Pure Folle Blanche raw of barrel 12 years 48,2° 70cl DOMAINE TARIQUET
197826
Twelve years of breeding sign the first maturity of the Folle Blanche. Served at room temperature on a fruity dessert, a meringue pastry, or eaten on its own. A deep golden color and a fresh nose of fruit (orange, lemon, wild apple) and flowers. A silky texture gently intensifying the freshness of the attack towards a long mouth evoking candied pineapple, nutmeg, white pepper and citrus zest. Wood and fruit melted in balance. The finish is tinged with liquorice coated with these deep flavors close to walnuts and typical of the breeding of the great Bas-Armagnacs, called "rancio".
