Vin Jaune Côtes du Jura Fruitière de Voiteur 62cl

Vin Jaune Côtes du Jura Fruitière de Voiteur 62cl

This Côte du Jura Fruitière de Voiteur is a mono-varietal "Savagnin" vin jaune, a traditional white grape variety from the Jura. This exceptional AOC dry white wine reveals ample and powerful aromas of almonds, walnuts and spices. If its golden color suggests a sweet wine, the yellow wine of the Jura is one of the driest whites. With its notes of dried fruit, it can be enjoyed with foie gras, stuffed or creamed poultry or even shellfish. This vin jaune with its aromatic power is widely used in the preparation of Franche-Comté specialties such as coq au vin jaune, delicious trout in yellow wine, but also in spiced curries.
Crémant d'Alsace brut Spitz & Fils 75cl

Crémant d'Alsace brut Spitz & Fils 75cl SPITZ ET FILS

This Crémant d'Alsace is a brut nature, meaning that it is not dosed and contains no added sugar, unlike more common crémants, which are often brut with around 15g of sugar per litre. It is made from Pinot Blanc, a grape variety native to Burgundy, known for producing drier, more delicate wines. This is an unusual choice for Alsace, where varieties such as Pinot Gris, Sylvaner and Gewurztraminer are more aromatic. It is made using the Champagne method, with an initial fermentation in vats, followed by a second fermentation in the bottle, which develops fine, elegant bubbles. This Crémant d'Alsace brut nature goes perfectly with Alsatian dishes such as sauerkraut, where its acidity and lightness balance the rich character of the dish.
