Nemea Agiorgitiko PDO red

Nemea Agiorgitiko PDO red SOKOS

The oldest variety in Greece, Nemea-Agiorgitiko is an integral part of the history of the Nemea region, in the Peloponnese. Its taste is linked to the blood of the lion killed by Hercules, spread over the vines of Agiorgitiko. Its color is deep and dark ruby, with concentrated aromas of red fruits and a complex nose.

Sokos red SOKOS

This wine is made from 40% Cabernet, 20% Grenache and 40% Syrah grapes. Produced on the clay slopes of the Kithairona mountain in central Greece, at an altitude of 450m, this wine benefits from the famous dry climate of Attica, with hot summers and cold winters, favorable to the ripening of the grapes. Its ruby color, deep and shiny reveals notes of dried fruits and nuts. Served at room temperature (16-18°C), it accompanies any type of meat or grilled sausages, spiced poultry dishes, casseroles and stews, pasta and cheeses.
Sokos rosé

Sokos rosé SOKOS

This wine is made from 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah grapes. Produced on the clay slopes of the Kithairona mountain in central Greece, at an altitude of 450m, this wine benefits from the famous dry climate of Attica, with hot summers and cold winters, favorable to the ripening of the grapes. Its pink color with medium clarity and a shiny appearance reveals a balanced taste with notes of summer fruits. Served chilled (10-12°C), it accompanies your pasta with white sauces, roast poultry, Mediterranean dishes and fruit.

Retsina, not Retsina, is the most consumed Greek wine in summer. The addition of pine resin during fermentation stabilizes the wine and restores the flavor of the wines of antiquity, stored in amphorae sealed with a coating of pine resin. To be consumed very fresh.
