This Porto Tawny "José Copéra" is a port wine produced in Portugal. It is bottled in 75cl bottles and has an alcohol content of 19% vol. This port is characterised by its 3-year ageing process in oak barrels, which gives it its "Tawny" designation (amber, tending towards brown-red). It has a liquid appearance, a red colour and a taste and smell characteristic of port. Its reducing sugar content is between 80 and 110g/l. Professional culinary uses: Tawny Port is a dessert or aperitif wine and an ingredient of choice for professional chefs: ► Cooking: This port, with its flavour enhanced by ageing in oak barrels, is perfect for deglazing meat, making a reduction with verbena, for example, especially to accompany foie gras, or for preparing marinades. ► Dessert: It can also be used to drizzle over cakes, flavour dark chocolate, or incorporate into creams and pastries. Storage advice: Keep refrigerated after opening.
