Sobrassada
Sobrasada de Mallorca Sarta Picante is a typical Spanish charcuterie product made from bacon and fresh pork from Spain, sourced from naturally raised animals. The mixture is seasoned with chilli pepper, black pepper and salt, then stuffed into natural casings and left to mature for at least 21 days.
This sobrasada is distinguished by its creamy, spreadable texture and characteristic spicy aromas. It can be enjoyed as an appetiser on toast, used in gourmet dishes, or incorporated into tapas, sauces or cooked dishes to add a typically Mediterranean flavour.
Remove from the refrigerator a few minutes before serving to fully reveal its texture and aromas. Ideal on toast, in tapas, or to enrich sauces and cooked dishes.
